    Updates! Matryoshka auction, 2014 planner illustration, animation, and a holiday mailer

    Hello! Just a few updates 🙂 Katha Magazine‘s auction for a cause has been extended until November 30 due to public request.     Stampin’ Up! Undefined Stamp Carving Kit and postcard giveaway winners announced

    Thanks to everyone who joined my Stampin’ Up! Undefined Stamp Carving Kit giveaway last week! There were 114 people who joined from various countries like Italy, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, USA, the Philippines, the Middle East… all over! There were 60 comments on the blog entry within a span of 12 hours on the first day of the giveaway, which was awesome because this is my first ever giveaway and I was afraid only 15 people would join or something.     I’m about to send out my very first postcard mailer to art directors and potential future clients abroad. As a freelance illustrator, self-promotion is important, and one way of catching an art director’s and potential client’s eye is going the old-school route: sending a postcard mailer. It’s essentially a direct mail piece but a pretty, less spammy one!
